Microsoft states that once malware has been detected on your system, there is no way for 100% to know what damage the malware has done to your computer.
Malware is an all encompassing word used to describe all types of threatening files to a computer. Like virus, trogan, rootkit virus, etc..
If you have the software on your system below, it is reccomended that you restore your computer back to the original factory condition and move on with life.
If you have have lost your restore media/disc, you can order a new one from most OEM companies for about $17. OEM names are Toshiba, Dell, Lenovo, HP Compaq, eMachines etc..

| Online AntiVirus or Firewall Software - Known as Freeware. Chances are if you are downloading a program to fix a problem, and you are not 100% sure who the designer is and what the program does, you are leaving yourself open to infection. Don't risk it. |

| Any Sort of Dialer or Dialer related program. |

| Refrain from anything with the word "Toolbar" in it. |

AVG Anything - This program simply does not work for 100%. And 9 times out of 10 I see this program blocking Windows functionality- like Windows Update. |

| If you don't know what you are doing, Bit and U Torrent is not for you. You must be super careful not to leave yourself open to infection. It's by no means 100% safe. |
